Hi! We’re the duo behind Focus Pocus, and while our business is new, our love for photography is anything but.

We first discovered our passion behind the lens way back in high school, where we were both on the Yearbook staff. It wasn’t just about taking photos — it was about capturing stories, personalities, and memories that would last long after the year ended. That experience sparked something in us that never went away.

Since then, photography has been woven into our lives in the most natural way. We’ve been the unofficial photographers for friends and family — the ones everyone calls for birthdays, baby showers, holidays, and spontaneous beach days. We’ve loved helping others freeze those special moments in time, just for the joy of it.

Now, we’re taking that joy and turning it into something more: a business built on connection, creativity, and community.

We’re both blonde moms, best friends, and full-time first responders — one of us a deputy, the other a nurse — which means we know how fast life moves, how much every second matters, and how important it is to savor and preserve the moments that matter most.

Focus Pocus is all about that magic: the sparkle in a kid’s eye, the warmth of a family hug, the realness of everyday joy. Whether you’re booking your first family session, celebrating a milestone, or just want some updated portraits that feel like you, we’re here to bring out the beauty and fun in every frame.
